Ok, kids. Sakura Con is this weekend (March 28-30) at the Convention Center in downtown Seattle, WA. I will be in the artists alley sharing a table with . I will also have a couple panels in the artshow this year as always. I think I might have a table in there with some comics and old usold mounted artwork that MUST GO NOW!!!!
If you stop by and see me in the Artists Alley, bring this following coupon:
komikino.deviantart.com/art/BU…
It entitles you to a buck off if you purchase $10 or more of my stuff! I will be selling prints, button, stickers (this is new this year, never sold them before), and comics. I will also be doing the occasional sketch or two as well. This coupon can be used at my Emerald City and San Diego Comic Con artists alley tables as well, if I can get any there.
These past couple weeks have been pretty damn trying for me...
1) We had a water heater go insane and leak water to the tenants below us in our condo complex. So I had to spend $1200 to get a new water heater installed, then there's the deductible I need to pay for the repairs (luckily home owners insurance is taking care of it).
2) I was so stressed from that going on (and the overtime I cranked out at work to build up my funds to pay for this) that I came down with the flu and larengitis (read previous general entry) for a week.
3) Had to take my car in for a $700 crankshaft and fuel pump repair 2 weeks ago. While I was at the dealership, I was lucky to catch the repair tech taking the back seat out of my car and placing it ONTOP of my car's roof scratching it. Been in a long battle now with the dealership on trying to get them to pay for the repaint on that (long story there I don't want to get into here).
4) Found out my wife might have a medical condition.
5) Then yesterday, my PC starts wiging out with some graphic issues. I thought the computer was dying but after spending an hour plus on the phone with a tech in the Phillipines, we narrowed it down to a possible problem with the graphics card.
Ugh... I am at my wits end here. I can usually deal with issues pretty well, but when it's a one-two punch like this non stop over a few weeks, I can't. I think I hit snapping point yesterday.
So, if anyone wants to buy prints from me to help me afford al this crap, I would greatly appreciate it. 8 1/2 x 11 prints are going for $5. If you see anything you like in my gallery, let me know. I hate doing this cause it sounds like begging, but extra funds are needed.
See you at the Cons!
Sakura Con Update! I will be at table 8 in the artists alley! By the way, the artists alley is in a real awesome spot this year! Wooot!

Emerald City Comic Con 2015 Halo/Starship Troopers
In case you have been wondering what I have been doing recently, I have been working on finishing off my Emerald City Comic Con and Sakura Con cosplay videos. I have finished off all of the ECCC ones and am currently working on the second Sakura Con cosplay video. I will post links to them here eventually.
When these are all finished, I plan on putting together another "Ghosts of" episode... or two!

Christmas Lights 2014
I threw together a Christmas Lights video a little bit ago.
The past holiday season was real tough on my family and I. I am working two jobs to get enough money that one job should be paying me. This has really stressed me beyond what I can put up with. I was sick over Christmas as well. I put this video together to try and recall some of the joy I had over the season... but there wasn't much there. Anyways, please give it a view and a thumbs-up as well.
It is over 15 minutes long, so be prepared.
My "Book of Stabby" is done and on lulu.com. Go check it out and snag a copy!

Fake Santa caught on video
My kid and I decided to try and capture Santa Claus on video last year. We set up a GoPro in the tree and my trusty Sony camcorder on the stairs to try and capture him. I had a friend come over and play the roll of Santa and had him come in and leave some gifts. This is the edited video I put together. It's kinda funny.
Give it a view and thumbs-up!

Ghosts Of Lewiston: The Kettenbach 2012
I just uploaded a new (cough, old) paranormal investigation video that you can see here:
This was made back in 2012 so it is "old" using Avid Studio and a bad video game headset to do the voice overs. But it is good and gets its point across.
This is actually the first in my series of paranormal investigations. Filmed in June 2012, I was really getting into video production and a friend suggested that I make a "paranormal" documentary show. I got together with Garry Bush who runs the Idaho History Tours/Ghost Tours in my hometown of Lewiston, Idaho and asked him if it was possible to get into a building to investigate. The building he let

Begging is good for the soul they say. I've been doing lots of it lately! ^_^
