Description
Back in 2003, I was thumbing through a Nira-X comic book and noticed a nicely sized B&W illustration drawn and inked of Nira-X and Zen: Intergalactic Ninja by comic master BIll Maus 
. I always thought Nira was cool and decided it would be great to color in the picture and give it to Bill at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con at that time. I colored it in using a couple new tricks I learned (like what I used to color and give texture to Zens' skin). I gave the picture to Bill at SDCC and has was amazed to see a fan coloring of his art.
In 2008, as fate would allow, I get the opportunity to share an Artists Alley table with Bill at SDCC! It was just bizarre how the whole incident played out. I asked Bill the other night if it would be ok to post this picture and he said "Sure!" So, here it is!

Nicely done. I've got a few issues of Maus' Comic, myself. I'd seen some of his renderings of comic characters in Wizard Magazine. Very impressive efforts by both of you.
